Meet Ying

Ying gave a Opening Remarks at 2008 Immigrant Entrepreneurs Summit.

Ying Sa is the CEO and the lead CPA at Community CPA & Associates Inc in Des Moines, Iowa. The firm provides tax, audit, accounting, and business consultation services to businesses and individuals across the U.S. and Canada. Ying's past career advancement experience include five years on a Vice President of Controllers position with Wells Fargo Financial Inc. and 6 years on the CFO position at Iowa Manufacturing Extension Partnership of Iowa State University.

Ying was featured in the Des Moines Register in 2004 for her outstanding and tireless volunteering contributions to the community. In 2005 she was exhailed as a successful business leader at Wells Fargo on the front page of the Business & Career Section of Des Moines Register. In 2006, Community CPA & Associates Inc was bestowed the Community Business of the Year Award by the Chinese Association of Iowa. In 2007, Ying was featured in the Business Record as a successful business leader who gives everything she can to the community that she lives in. In 2008 Ying was the recipient of the Jim Goodman Entrepreneurial Spirit Award by the East Des Moines Chamber of Commerce. In 2009 Ying was honored with 2009 Passport to Prosperity by Iowa Council for International Understanding for her time and efforts to improving our community. On Feb 23, 2010, Ying received the Iowa Volunteer Hall of Fame award at the State Capitol. Ying Sa is a distinguished pioneer for community development and her volunteer service pays a fundamental role for the fast and healthy development of Iowa’s diversified community. She is an inspiration and role model to fall of the immigrant community and business.

Ying has successfully helped numerous number of clients on a broad range of complicated tax and accounting matters for large corporations, nonprofit organizations, small businesses and individuals. She enjoys interactions with people of all backgrounds and cultures, and she gives her highest passion and expertise in providing professional consultation and services to her clients. With her own background of being an immigrant and a woman and her broad corporate and business experience, she masterfully blends multi-facet perspectives into her professional work and exchanges with clients.
